WURA

Fire, spice, and Lagos nights

Weekend tables are filling — book Friday and Saturday now

Our story

A house of fire on the island.

WURA is a contemporary West African kitchen built around a wood-fire grill. We cook the food of home — jollof, suya, bream, asun — with the patience and plating of a serious dining room. The terrace looks toward the lagoon. The room stays late.

How we host

Wood-fire grill

Coals, smoke, and a short menu that changes with the catch and the market.

Seasonal market

Peppers, greens, and fish from Lagos waters — cooked the same day they arrive.

Palmwine highballs, lagoon light, and a last plate after eleven.

Guests

The jollof tasted like a wedding and a tasting menu at once.

Adaeze O.

We stayed on the terrace until close. Service never rushed us.

Tunde K.

Best suya I’ve had in the city — properly spiced, properly grilled.
